B+E Trailer Training
Drivers who passed their practical test on, or after, 1st January 1997 are required to pass an additional driving test in order to tow larger trailers such as: horse boxes; caravans; boats; plant; commercial trailers. This includes a retest if you have lost your licence for any reason. Without this test, you are restricted to towing a trailer with a gross laden weight not exceeding 750kg.
